Anyway I would like to share the traditional Hungarian famous pastry Kürtőskalács or Kürtős Kalács. This Hungarian pastry also known as chimney cake or stove cake. I like it very much!! I saw this pastry when I was touring the city of Budapest but not sure about the ingrediant. I just bought it at the exhibition on Hungarian Food Industry at the hotel and they explained better about the ingrediant. Moreover I can personally see the baking process of kurtos.

Looking at your current food fascination, probably munching this kurtos kalacs (berbelit lidah) while writing your thesis might induced the flow of the idea better.

Kalau tak salah kurtoskalacs ni is made from sunflower oil & fresh yeast, kan? Then diluarnya ada fine sugar and sometimes ada crush walnut or something? Hmmm... yummy!

The other day I asked my Hungarian friend (my group-mate) where can we get kurtoskalacs here in Dundee and she responded that - Ahh.. now, let me see, ... sorry friend, here I eat and live curry! and she laughed.....
Looks like it will be sometime before I can set teeth on a kurtos. When I first tasted it many years ago, I didn't even know what it's called....pathetic, huh?....
mcm menarik kurtos nie..letak resepi kt blog ar..pastu edit wat edisi malaysia..hihihh
